45*6 characters=270
+20 (Xunlai)
=290. More than enough
If anything they need slots SPECIFICALLY for CUSTOMIZED armor/weapons.

Perhaps for you maybe.....but you are not the only player.....I am running low on available space and would like to have more.
I posted once before on this, just not sure if it was here....I think they should make tabbed storage. One tab of 20-30 slots for each character on account in post-searing. By going to the Xunlai agent you can access any of the storage sets by simply clicking on the tab, which would have the first name of the character it applies to on it.

I am very low on space on all my characters.
Keeping weapons specific to each character, at least two armor sets, kits, keys leaves very little room for picking up items without constantly having to salvage and toss items, especially for longer campaigns such as UW, SF, FoW, Tombs.
The only thing I keep in my storage vault is cross profession items such as dye, collector items, keys or materials. Even at that I have a whole slot dedicated to just those items and that is also full.
I know that we are getting guild storage, as that was officially mentioned during an early peek at what factions held, but I hope we get more personal slots and larger vault to handle character specific items.
I am really curious to see how guild storage is going to work.

You either haven't played GW for more than 10 minutes or you never keep any materials or holiday items. I have one character who carries nothing but materials and another character who carries nothing but holiday items and weapon mods... And no, don't get me started on the actual weapons...
Also, ALL of my characters have 2 sets of armor to swap and all head pieces with different runes on them, so I can switch them if needed. Of that 45 slots, 10 are used for spare armor, 5 for different weaponsand 10 other you always need to keep free for the drops you will get while questing. That leaves around 20 for storage, and not 45. One of your slots is probably a PvP toons which you can't use to store anything. That leaves you with 3*60 + 20 (xunlai) = 80. Which is nothing.

I don't think you will be able to keep personal items on guild storage.
For example...let's say you maxed your guild storage with personal items.
You also maxed your personal inventory space.
If you decide to leave the guild, or kicked, or guild is disbanded, are you going to lose all those personal items since you don't have any more space to store items that was in guild storage?
So I'm guessing guild storage will be used in order to share/give items to other guild members.
As I mentioned in other post, I'm personally ok with 2 character slots.
But when think of storage space, each character should get 1 full personal storage per area. If ArenaNet decides not to add anymore personal storage space, We(people who is combining) will only get half storage per area for their existing characters. Area meaning explorable map.
I'm pretty sure existing players will carry their stuff over to new area. Unless ArenaNet increases personal storage slot, we won't be able to accommodate new items.
If you are merging the accounts, I know you will get 2 character slot.
But what do you think about merging players having 4 character slot worth of "inventory space"? After all, all of 8 professions need to store their items for core and faction area right?
Just curious what GuildWars community will think about this.

Well, some of us like to keep a PvP slot open so you can say 245 slots. Even at 245 slots. For us "packrats" with an entirely new continent to explore and new drop potential...still not enough. As it is right now I have about 130 slots on 2 accounts filled for a total of 260 slots and I still need room.

Armor racks would be great - I have 4 suits of ranger armour (Two frost, 2 druid, one with all superiors and one with all minors for each - allows me to have any combination of superior/minor/mask), and may well expand to 8 if an armour storage is made (Yay for letting me have Drakescale and Studded too!).
